- Updated: February 4, 2016
Goalies don’t normally score, but Blackhawks netminder Corey Crawford scored some serious good guy points with a young fan.
Crawford recently surprised young Blackhawks fan Ben — and his babysitter — as part of the team’s “What’s Your Goal” community outreach program. Ben has a medical condition that makes it hard for him to move his arms and legs, and the youngster wears Blackhawks-emblazoned braces on his legs.
In the clip, Crawford shows up at Ben’s house to surprise him and Emilie, the babysitter.

Young Blackhawks fan Ben gets a surprise visit from Chicago goalie Corey Crawford.
Crawford’s teammates, Tuevo Teravainen and Andrew Shaw join him and Ben’s brother for the game before they head inside for some mac ‘n’ cheese in the kitchen — where Crawford looks a little out of his element.
The emotional clip ends with Crawford and Ben in the kiddo’s team-themed room thumbing through a Blackhawks book.
