Steph Curry said it was “funny and honoring” to be included in Kanye West’s Twitter rant.

Being name-dropped by Kanye West might be more important than NBA MVP for Steph Curry.

The Golden State Warriors star was part of Kanye’s Valentine’s Day Twitter rant, when the rapper said he’s “the Jordan and Steph Curry of music, meaning I’m the best of 2 generations.”

Kanye West has spent most of the last month ranting on Twitter.

Curry’s reaction, he said, was mostly amused.

“I’ve seen a lot of his crazy outlandish tweets, especially in the past month, and then when I saw my name cross through his fingertips, that was kind of funny and honoring at the same time,” Curry said Thursday.

“But then also very weird that he put me in the same conversation as Michael and Kanye.”

Curry also joked about the follow-up meme that came out of the tweets, with Kanye’s face superemposed on both Curry and Jordan.

“Someone did a graphic of me in my jersey and Jordan, they dubbed him guarding me, and Kanye’s face was on both of us,” Curry said.

“That’s my favorite meme of all time — or so far to-date. I’m gonna have to get that blown up on my wall or something.”
