Mark Sanchez is now on his third team in four seasons.

According to Mark Sanchez, having a family is a detriment to NFL success.

“I am not married. I don’t have kids. I want to play football and win,” he told reporters in Denver Monday when he was introduced as the Broncos quarterback.

DENVER BRONCOS: NO MORE MANNING, OSWEILER? NO PROBLEM!

The ex-Jets quarterback was probably just trying to illustrate that his only focus is football, but it was a clunky thing to say. Of the eight players to quarterback the last 10 Super Bowl champs, five were married when their teams won the Lombardi Trophy — Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Joe Flacco, Eli Manning and Drew Brees.

Sanchez — who reached back-to-back AFC title games but is remembered more for the Butt Fumble than his three touchdown passes against the Patriots in a playoff win in Foxboro — said that he needed to compose himself when hearing from Broncos GM John Elway for the first time.

“Taking a call from John Elway was pretty special,” he said. “I had a picture of him in my room growing up. Once that wore off, I realized what an opportunity this is here.”

The Broncos traded for Sanchez, 29, after Manning retired and Brock Osweiler bolted in free agency. In two seasons with the Eagles he started 10 games while backing up Nick Foles and Sam Bradford.

Sanchez and Trevor Siemian are the only quarterbacks on Denver’s roster.
