Panthers' Roman Harper renting out his pad for Super Bowl
- Updated: February 3, 2016

Roman Harper wants a Panthers fan to shell out $ 5K to watch the Super Bowl at his place.
You can watch Super Bowl 50 from the house of Carolina Panthers safety Roman Harper.
That’s according to a posting on airbnb.com, where Harper, who’s in his second year with the Panthers, is opening his home in Charlotte for $ 5,000 on Sunday night. The Panthers are in Santa Clara, prepping to play the Denver Broncos on Sunday night, and they headed west last Sunday, opening the apartment up for use.
“Come watch me play in the Super Bowl – from my own couch!” Harper’s posting reads. “I’m Roman Harper of the Carolina Panthers, and while I’m in Santa Clara on February 7, I’d love to invite you and a guest to experience Super Bowl 50 in my house.”

Harper bills his house as “A Panther’s Dream Den,” and adds that it’s a “a football fantasy come true.”
“In celebration and for those fans who are not able to attend the big game, my family and I are offering the chance for a lucky guest to spend the night!” the post continues.
Harper’s house includes a 70-inch TV, an outdoor junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, and an “expansive deck and deluxe courtyard.”

“As the evening approaches, prepare your football finest and take advantage of the kitchen,” the posting adds. “It’s where I (and my mom) spend most of the time preparing for big games.”
The proceeds go to a good cause, going to support Harper’s Hope 41 Foundation, a charity that bills itself as preparing “today’s youth for tomorrow’s challenges.” According to the posting Airbnb will match the proceeds that Harper’s foundation donates for the use of the house on Super Bowl night.
