Ben Simmons is ready to give up college basketball and go pro.
Ben Simmons, one of the top freshmen in the country, says he’s going to hire an agent and declare for this year’s NBA draft.
“I’m making it official,” the LSU Tiger told ESPN.

The 19-year-old, who stands at 6-foot-10, averaged 19.2 points, 11.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.
LSU (19-4, 11-7) failed to make the NCAA tournament and declined an invitation to the NIT.

Simmons is expected to be one of the top picks in the draft, which takes place June 23 in Brooklyn.
