Cubs Joe Maddon new dress code is 'look hot'
- Updated: March 21, 2016

Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon instituted a new dress code for his players that requires only that they “look hot.”
He’s sexy and he knows it.
Cubs manager Joe Maddon held the team’s annual meeting on clubhouse rules and included a new dress code among the adjustments for the upcoming season.
“If you think you look hot, wear it,” Maddon told MLB.com.
“That’s the dress code.”
The hipster manager is as well known for his clubhouse rituals as he is for his in-game management.

Maddon frequently institutes team dress-up days for road trips with the Cubs, and previously the Rays, including black tie, Woodstock and South Beach themes.
When the National League Division Series champions aren’t wearing costumes on the road, Maddon said he doesn’t particularly care what they wear — they’re even allowed to wear shorts.
“The $ 5,000 suit on the airplane ride makes no sense to me whatsoever unless you’re trying to impress,” he told MLB.com, “and I don’t know who you’re trying to impress.”
