Cam Newton is still getting kicked while down.

The Carolina quarterback’s behavior in a post-game press conference has drawn ire from many.

So late night host Conan O’Brien decided to tackle the “controversy” with some comic relief that revolves around… a Fig Newton joke.

After showing everyone in the audience footage of how the Panthers star acted after his team’s Super Bowl loss, O’Brien quipped “Cam Newton, more like Fig Newton.”

The pun obviously bombed — like Newton did on Sunday — so the host took to a mock “Conan’s Post-Joke Press Conference,” which featured him in a hoodie, giving the media short answers

The final straw for sensitive O’Brien is when one reporter asks “Is there any talk about TBS maybe trading you to another network now?”
